About the role:
 
Reporting to the Manager, Environmental Performance, the Senior Lead, Internal Audit is responsible for developing, executing, and supervising the environment and community assurance programs related to legal and voluntary compliance obligations, Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) standards, Mining Association of Canada (MAC) Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM), International Council of Mining and Metals (ICMM) and ISO 14001.

We are seeking a highly ethical and skilled leader with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities for the role of Senior Lead, Integrated Assurance. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with multiple departments and liaise with Glencore teams. Handling sensitive information with discretion and objectivity, always ensuring confidentiality, is vital. This role involves managing multiple second-party assurance activities across multiple assets and requires a willingness to travel to various asset locations. The successful candidate will demonstrate comprehensive knowledge in frameworks related to responsible mining initiatives aimed at improving environmental, social, and governance practices in the mining industry.

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
