EVR is a Canadian steelmaking coal producer. We take our responsibilities to our people, to society and to the

environment seriously.

The high-quality steelmaking coal EVR produces is an essential input for steel that can be used for constructing products such as wind turbines and critical infrastructure including rail, bridges, hospitals and schools.

Nestled in the heart of the breathtaking Rocky Mountains, between British Columbia and Alberta, the Elk Valley region, encompassing communities including Fernie, Sparwood, and Elkford, is perfect for people looking for a tranquil yet adventurous lifestyle. With world-class skiing, mountain biking, and outdoor activities, the Elk Valley is an idyllic place to call home. It’s also where EVR’s steelmaking coal operations are located.  Our employees often choose to reside in other nearby communities such as the Crowsnest Pass, from where they can easily commute to our sites.
