Students & New Grads
At Elk Valley Resources (EVR) we take pride in our university co-op and summer student programs, where we seek to hire over 200 students annually for 4-12 month work terms across a range of disciplines. This includes students in Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental Sciences, Business and more!
Most of our Co-op positions are located at our steelmaking coal operations in the Elk Valley of British Columbia, Canada, a region known for its rich natural resources and stunning mountain landscapes. Here you will find outdoor adventure at your fingertips in the breathtaking Rocky Mountains. Some Co-op work opportunities are available at EVR’s corporate offices located in Calgary, Alberta and Vancouver, British Columbia.

Most student opportunities are posted four months before the start of each work term:
