About the role:
Reporting to the Manager, Regulatory Approvals for the FRX Project, the Coordinator, Regulatory Approvals is responsible for assisting in the provincial and federal environmental assessment and permitting processes, to acquire all necessary regulatory approvals for the construction and operation of an extension to one of our existing steelmaking coal operations.
The Fording River Extension (FRX) Project is a proposed extension of EVR’s existing Fording River Operations (FRO), located in the East Kootenay region in southeastern British Columbia. The FRX Project is anticipated to extend the lifespan of FRO by approximately 35 years. The Project is an opportunity for EVR to continue building on our commitment to responsible resource development.
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, who can build and foster positive relationships with partners across all levels of our organization. In addition, strong organization, problem-solving, critical thinking, time management, and analytical skills as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are vital for this role.

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
