About the role:
 
Reporting to the Senior Engineering Supervisor, the Engineer-in-Training(EIT) is responsible for working with a group of professionals to support mining operations at Fording River. They will learn engineering practices with the guidance and mentorship of a team committed to safe production and sustainability.  At EVR, an EIT will develop over a 4-year program with rotations approximately every 18 to 24 months, giving you the experience and exposure to build well-rounded skills to become a successful professional engineer.

Working at Elkview Operations in BC’s Elk Valley, you’ll have the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of mining engineering including short/mid/long range planning, drill and blast, projects, and more. The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
